My biggest project of 2024!
Ambiente Pictures (a production company I’ve been working with for 7+ years now) produced this 10 part miniseries for the Hungarian TV channel SportTv (a subsdiary of AMC Hungary).
The whole project started in January, when we made our pilot episode, and after getting greenlit by AMC, production started in the Summer. The project was a huge undertaking in terms of editing, as there was no precedent for making a series that was aimed at the general public, not hardcore basketball fans. As such, the whole concept of the series was being designed as we went along, we had to carve out own spot in the TV programming timeline.
Also, having no editing assistant meant that I was pre-cutting one episode, while simultaneously finishing up another one.
Editing and Color grade, done entirely in DaVinci Resolve, effects made in After Effects.

An hour long concert film, Vera commissioned for her birthday, which also coincided with the 20th anniversary of her win, in the Hungarian talent show: Megasztár. The film was completely done within two weeks of principal photography. The deadline was set so close to filming, due to the fact that the museum exhibit in which we filmed was coming to a close, and the film was intended to be projected as a closing statement to the exhibit. The film later aired on national television, and a streaming deal is being negotiated.
Editing and Color grade, done entirely in DaVinci Resolve.
Paramount Pictures Hungary - Mission:Impossible TV Promo

A TV commercial video for the Paramount network, for a promotion they were running, in which they played Mission Impossible movies over the course of a week. The main character is the Hungaraian Voice Actor who has always been the VO artist playing Tom Cruise. The video is shot in a “mocumentary” style, where he’s describing how his life “hasn’t” changed in the years of him being the voice of Tom Cruise. We recreated some iconic moments from the films, while giving an over the top feeling to the whole video.

Wáberer Medical Center – da Vinci Robot Showcase

Promotional Video for Wáberer Medical Center in Budapest. The video showcases the revolutionary new surgery assisting robot the center has acquired. Naturally we could not show the robot in a normal surgery, so we opted to make the little girl’s Teddy bear the patient.

A day of work at SZRT.

A “Day in the life” video for the company running the Hungarian lottery. Shot in a POV “One-take” style, we go through a day of an average employee. Showcasing the benefits of working for the company, while sharing the company’s ethics and work culture. It was a great exercise in pacing the scenes, as well as a great opportunity to work on my hidden cuts.

COMEDY CENTRAL Hungary –
Christmas Special

An bonus video for Comedy Central, in which most of the well known faces of the Hungarian stand-up community are featured. The theme of the video is: “What not to do at the Christmas dinner table”. It features several skits, most of them ad-libbed on set, all neatly tied up with a nice message at the end, of the whole of the comedy central crew whishing the viewers a happy Christmas.

Paramount Pictures Hungary – “Scary Friday” TV Promo
Editor
Promoting a horror film marathon on every Friday, this video stars Zolee Ganxta, a hungarian metal musician, who’s known for his tough-guy persona. While recounting his “relaxing” weekend to his friend during a phonecal, and stating that he never gets scared, we see the actual events that transpired during the weekend.

Samsung S22 Ultra – Hungarian Launch Promo

A promotional video for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s launch in Hungary. Shot and edited in slow motion / frozen time style. My main task with this project was to edit it, and to prepare the footage for the VFX artist, as well as to keep in contact with our client and pass along any needed changes to the VFX artist. Programs used throughout the workflow: Premiere Pro, After Effects.
Unicef – Newsletter Promo

A TV commercial and online promotional video for UNICEF. The video had to have a light hearted tone, that could appeal to kids and grown ups as well.
